The website has been altered and revamped. I hope you all like it!

My commissions are once again open and waiting for applicants. I'll be having a special soon, too! Yay, specials!

There's been some exciting news since I last posted.  I had to close down commissions because I've been working on comics! In my absence, I've completed a story in the Toronto Comics Anthology, both first and second volumes, as well as a story in Epic Canadiana 2, which is due out this summer.

In addition to this, I've started working on my own comic, Strays, which will be out when it gets out. In any case, I'll be starting a kickstarter and will be offering this comic for free online in black and white. The kickstarter is for printing the comic. Plenty of goodies will be available such as prints, buttons, and maybe even handknits.

Commissions Revamps!

Due to volume of commission work I've been doing, skill increasing, confidence increasing, and speediness, I have made revisions to my commissions section.

I have also completed the last set of commissions and will be accepting new requests for commissions. Please note me on deviantArt or contact me through the website to reserve your slot.

Please bear in mind that I will not accept payment for your piece until it is your turn. Refer to the FAQs section of the website if you need to know more.

I've finished quite a few pieces in the last couple of months, including warmups. I've posted them all on my tumblr!

A long needed update.

Hey, everyone!

I understand that it's been awhile since I last updated with a drawing, but it's been the week of the zombie apocalypse in my house, what with everyone being sick all week. It's hard to pick up a tablet when you have children with a fever.

It's still ongoing, as my eldest son is still sick, but I'll try to pump out the commissions once again once he's in bed and sleeping.

Anyway, in other news, I've been taking my new Ty Templeton class and have been learning amazing things about comic books and penciling in the page! Expect some comic pages from me in the near future, for both practice and fun!

Captain Unity's player commissioned this piece: Full body, full blended colour with a detailed background and an added comic book overlay. It was a pleasure working on this piece and on this character.

We're Live!

And we're live! I'm happy to announce that the site is up and running and that I have now officially opened and started commissions. It's been a long time coming and I can't express my excitement.

Site is Launched!

Welcome to the launch of jupejuperocket art, located conveniently at www.jupejuperocket.com.  After months of preparation, I have finally begun to get my website for commissions in order.

Currently, I am working around the clock to get all the content up and running and will supply a fully functional resource for anyone seeking commissions.

I have decided to offer more than just standard drawings and am putting all of my creative skills to use! You will be able to commission graphics for your forums or websites, Primus pages (for those from Champions Online), or signature pics, as well as chibis, comic book covers, magazine covers, and finally, knitting!

That's right! I am an avid knitter and have opened commissions for knitting you something warm, smushy, and unique.

Keep tuned to the site for updates. I'll be adding content daily and will boast when it's complete.

Finally, I may make the occasional blog post about the art classes I'm taking with comic book artist Ty Templeton, along with the occasional scan of the sketches I've been doing.
